e' un tipo di armatura dell'antichita' classica molto usata nel mediterraneo, piu' leggera di qualsiasi altro tipo di protezione ma ugualmente resistente, piu' simile come concetto ai nostri moderni giubbetti anti-proiettile che non alle armature medioevali e' un materiale "composito".

In generale reputo che la scherma debba ridurre le azioni ai minimi termini per essere bella.

prego, una cosa simile era usata anche nel giappone feudale, ma con strati di carta di riso e colla al posto del lino.  :)
