Il fantasma si ritira

Pavlik, un pugile che mi è sempre piaciuto molto, ha deciso di dire basta.
Ho letto sommariamente le sue motivazioni, e devo dire che se (e il "se" è d'obbligo) terrà fede alla sua decisione, non posso che condividere i pensieri che lo hanno portato ad appendere i guanti al chiodo.

I won the world title, I defended my title, I was champ for three years and I made good money. Why take the chance of medical problems?"

Non si può pensare/dire/fare di meglio.

Se ci tiene alla salute farebbe meglio anche a bere di meno. Purtroppo è risaputo che i problemi con la bottiglia gli hanno accorciato la carriera. Comunque sempre DEFEND YOUNGSTOWN!!
