sembra che cooker sia sceso contro sasakibara per chi realizza l'evento più vintage, con atleti sui 50 anni come fa a venire in mente a uno di fare shamrock vs royce 3 nel 2016 pazzesco!
il video è bellissimo, si pongono faccia a faccia come un telefilm poliziesco, nel confronto tra poliziotto e sospettato, uno spasso...

Ma sarà tipo rievocazione storica! Incredibile, me lo voglio vedere! Royce si sarà adattato ai tempi migliorando lo striking? O, appunto come una rievocazione dei fatti del passato, al primo movimento di Samrock lo avvinghia come un pitone e non lo molla più? Speriamo sia un combattimento serio, più che altro.
Beh Shamrock ha una attività recente... Royce era fermo da quel dì...
apparte questo 20anni fà il grappling non era studiato e diffuso come adesso, severn,shamrock,kimo etc sovrastavano royce di 30 40 kg, pesava solo 75kg all'epoca, ma non conoscevano passaggi e tecniche e le difese relative che ora trovi ovunque, e anche molto più evolute, quindi il gap tecnico dell'epoca non c'e praticamente più

ok c'e stata una ginocchiata clamorosa nei maroni, ma l'arbitro si era immedesimato nelll'UFC 1 e credeva fosse un colpo regolare , io con il cambio inquadratura me l'ero persa, ma vedevo shamrock dolorante e non avevo capito il motivo, poi il secondo replay ha chiaritomla dinamica, capperi l'arbitro è proprio li davanti dall'angolazione perfetta deve averla vista quella ginocchiata...
daltronde Royce ha fatto benissimo a chiudere il match, mica è lui che regolamenta il match è l'arbitro

devo ammettere che un paio di situazioni ,mi hanno strappato una risata spontanea , una quando kimbo, si inginocchia da solo per il gasping, e un'altra quando ribalta dada 5000 al suolo, mi pareva una moviola, cmq kimbo dominava 2 takedown, 2 full mount, ben il 76% di colpi a segno, dada5000 è un bisonte ma è 0° come fighter, un match di mma l ha vinto grazie all'arbitro che ha interrotto il match mentre l'avversario era in full mount e gli ha permesso di riprendere in piedi,

Melvin Guillard è andato veramente giù fisicamente, sè fatto mettere contro la rete e non ha più potuto gestire la situazione
riflettevo che i fighters possono contare su una componente emotiva, assente in altri sport, nessuno farebbe meeting di atletica tra over 45, un royce vs shamrock 101 anni in due, ha un valore sportivo pari a zero, ma conta sulla spinta emotiva, sulle sfide di 20anni fà, ed in qualche modo ha promozionato l'evento, anzi comè andata ci potrebbe essere un 4° match

On Sunday, Shamrock, via his legal rep, filed a complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and asked the commission to overturn the result to a no-contest after the referee missed an illegal knee to the groin.

5000 (2-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) collapsed in the third round of a bout with Slice (6-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) in a Spike-televised co-headliner and was escorted from the cage in a stretcher after being given oxygen. A statement from his family said he was admitted to the hospital after the fight with renal failure and severe dehydration, though Bleacher Report’s Jeremy Botter said he also was in critical condition after suffering cardiac arrest.
Stanford said 5000, who took a flurry of punches before collapsing and was ruled the loser via TKO, was attended to by emergency medical technicians and a ringside physician licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for the event. She stressed he and Slice passed all necessary exams in order to be licensed for Bellator 149.
Standford said 5000 and Slice, being over the age of 36, were required to undergo an electroencephalogram (EEG) and electrocardiogram (EKG) as a condition of their licensure, and did so without issue. They were also examined, and passed, a pre-fight medical examination in which they were checked for signs of dehydration and hypertension.
dada5000 quasi ci rimette le penne in questo match ,perdere 40lbs e fare uno sforzo cosi per un non atleta è molto pericoloso, probabile che le commissioni chiudano un po' le maglie tra questi match improvvisati
